buttah. By Dorion Renaud

Updated: Nov 29, 2023

Buttah was founded in 2018 uniting the best of nature and science in highly effective products for both women and men, formulated to reveal more radiant results.

I have to admit, just looking at this ad for black, beautiful skin at its best is enough to make me want to buy this product! But behind the cleverly placed display of black beauty, there is a product worth investigating.

Buttah, as we say in New York for butter, targets the skincare issues we face every day - dryness, discoloration, oiliness, and blemishes with simple, proven-effective, good-for-you ingredients that leave your skin glowing, healthy, and renewed. Their products are clinically validated, with natural ingredients such as Vitamin C, Rosewater, Cocoa, and Shea butter, just to name a few; claiming to address the issues of the aforementioned. Like so many people of color, I too have issues with even skin tone, clear skin, and dryness. It's great to have a company get real and address skin type issues, particular to melanin-rich skin.

About The Founder, Dorion Renaud

Hailing from Texas, model, actor, recording artist and CEO of Buttah Skin, Dorion Renaud's expansive career has taken him from the pages of Vogue to the catwalk to television as a host for NBC's EXTRA, E's Keeping up with the Kardashians and as a star in Bounce sitcom, "In the Cut”. Throughout his career in the public eye, his tireless search for skincare products that address the particular needs of his skin often failed to deliver... until he discovered raw, organic, natural Shea. The transformational properties of this single ingredient inspired Dorion to create Buttah Skin.

I found the pricing of this skincare line to be quite competitive as far as skincare products go and I always like it when skincare lines sell their products in kits and separately giving the option to mix and match as one sees fit. The reviews from customers are outstanding and that makes buttah. worth trying.
